Dead Effect 2 VR logo by BadFly Interactive for Vive and Rift
Release Date -6/8/17

BadFly Interactive has come out of nowhere to deliver one of the hottest VR games I've seen so far in 2017. Despite having little to no fanfare surrounding the game before release, it's establishing itself as one of the most high powered VR games we've seen recently. If you've played Arizona Sunshine or Doom 3 BFG VR mod, then you'll have a pretty good idea of what you're getting in Dead Effect 2. In fact, this game is so similar to Doom 3 BFG, that it's almost uncanny. There's one big difference though, Doom 3 BFG is from a long, long time ago. This game doesn't have that inherent jankyness. The way the story comes together, and the quality of the zombie models really reminds me of Arizona Sunshine. However, the big difference with that one, is it's mostly bright and sunny. This game is mostly dark and dreary, but it also will splash the screen with lots of color and effects at times.
