Dick Wilde is a wave shooter... But wait, before you skip to the next review, hear me out with this one. It is a wave shooter, and like many games from this genre, it doesn't have a great deal of depth. However, for a game with as much competition as this, it certainly differentiates itself in some aspects. The light, cartoony graphics are a welcome change from the dark, closed environments we usually see. Also, the enemies are widly varying, and again, not the usual futuristic robots or zombies. This game won't blow you away, but it has enough about it to be a welcome part of your collection, if you're not already burned out on the genre.
