So, we've been waiting for the Half-Live 2 VR mod for what seems like an eternity. In fact, I can remember talking to a good friend of mine about this game well over two years ago. Back then, we thought the release was imminent. Here we are two full years later, and it seems nowhere closer to release. In the back of my mind, I've always wondered if maybe Valve themselves had plans to do something official with Half-Life 2. (related to VR) Could that be the reason this mod has been perpetually delayed? Well, now that we know about the impending arrival of the Valve Index, anything is possible. There's been a number of rumors about a legitimate Half-Life VR game possibly coming from Valve directly, so I'm not sure how that could affect this project.
