Serious Sam: The Last Hope is Croteam's first major stab at a full blown VR game. With wave shooters being a very popular genre, it made perfect sense to take that idea and inject the Serious Sam motif on top. The idea of hundreds of screaming lunitics running at you at full speed in VR is something they simply couldn't pass up. The big complaint you'll hear with this game is that it's basically a 180 degree experience. You don't really have to ever worry about something coming at you from the rear. Also, this game's $40 price tag is a bit steep for what is basically a glorified wave shooter, no matter how pretty and polished it might be.
