Sprint Vector has all the ingredients for an amazing VR game. Beautiful, colorful graphics? Check. Amazingly catchy soundtrack? Check. Witty banter between two Galactic co-hosts? Check. However, I ultimately kept coming back to the fact that I could never quite adjust to the control scheme. This game might be the closest thing we have in VR gaming to Mario Kart, but it misses the most crucial element of that comparison by a country mile. The control. Mario Kart has sublime control, and no matter how much I tried, I could never quite come to grips with the control scheme. It's still a ton of fun to play, and even more fun to listen to while playing, but ultimately it falls short because you just don't feel like you have legitimate control over your onscreen racer.
