Right now in the world of VR we basically have two types of software. Games and Experiences. The Blu would definitely fall in the "experiences" camp, but it shares some features that are more common to high-end VR games. First off, it's not a 360 video based experience. This is an actual game engine, with 3D models of various sea creatures swimming around. You get to experience what it's like to be extremely close to a ginormous Blue Whale. You also get to experience the deep dark depths of the ocean and a relaxing swim with sea turtles. Most VR experiences are free, but The Blu goes a bit beyond most VR experiences. It's not a bad $10 investment, especially if you want some great content to show Grandma.
