Top 20 Oculus Rift Games (#1-20, our Super Elite tier)
Half-Life: Alyx has been around for over one year now, but it's still dominating the charts. Of course, Beat Saber, the other perennial favorite, is only one spot back. Boneworks, by Stress Level Zero, is currently ranked 9th overall. It's one of the staff's favorites. The physics are just so next level, that it really bumps the immersion factor. Star Wars Squadrons by EA Motive, is the newest game in our Top 20. It arrived back on October 1st of last year.
Top 40 Oculus Rift Games (#21-40, our "Elite tier")
Karnage Chronicles, currently ranked #21, is easily one of the most underappreciated VR games. Not that people don't praise it as one of the best VR dungeon crawlers, they do, but it probably deserves to be considered among the upper echelon of VR games in general. Westworld Awakening at #37 is in a very similar boat. Very few people realize just how good the game is. It's one of these games that you have to get into the later levels to really appreciate its impact.
Top 60 Oculus Rift Games (#41-60, our "Strong Contenders tier")
Windlands 2 by Psytec Games, ranked 43rd overall, might have some of the most impressive boss battles of any VR game we've ever played. Some bosses require you to swing all around their perimeter, all the while striking them in mid-air with a perfect bow launch for maximum damage. You'll feel like Legolas from The Lord of the Rings! Brass Tactics, by Hidden Path Entertainment, continues to rank well. It's widely considered the most approachable and enjoyable Real-Time Strategy game in Virtual Reality.
Top 80 Oculus Rift Games (#61-80, our "Super Solid tier")
Sparc is a game you don't hear a ton about. It's a relatively simple concept, with a narrow focus, but what it does, it does so well. It feels like a futuristic sport from Disney's classic movie Tron. The clean, crisp art aesthetic gives it a unique flavor. It's currently ranked 66th. Shadow Point by Coatsink, currently 71st, is probably better known for its Oculus Quest version. However, please don't sleep on the Rift version, because you'll be missing one of VR's best puzzle games!
Top 100 Oculus Rift Games (#81-100, our "Solid tier")
BlazeRush at No.82 overall is one of our all-time favorite VR games. Some might say it's because it reminds us of Blizzard's classic Super Nintendo game, Rock'N'Roll Racing! Well, that's certainly part of it, but we feel that the 3rd person perspective in a racing game like this is actually quite spectacular. As you race your vehicle around the tracks, you can lean in really close and see everything happening right in front of you. It feels like cute, tiny holograms of racers driving around your living room!
The Top 150 Oculus Rift Games Currently Available (#101-150)
We've gone through the first 100 Oculus Rift games, but we're far from done. There's still tons of amazing games to rank. One underrated title starting to climb the charts is Shooty Skies Overdrive by Mighty Games. It's very affordable at only $9.99. It's an incredibly colorful wave shooter, but it does have its own twist on the genre. Your VR controller/hand is essentially the plane you're controlling (while shooting the baddies). This gives it pinpoint accuracy and puts you in the center of the action. It's similar to Xortex 26XX in that regard. Basically, Xortex 26XX meets Candy Land!

Top 200 Oculus Rift Games Currently Available (#151-200)
We've now ranked 150 different games for the Oculus Rift. You'd think we'd have exhausted the supply of decent VR titles by now. Well, you'd be wrong. There are still tons of amazing Rift games to consider. For example, take a game like Project Wingman. This game reminds many VR flight simmers of Ace Combat 7 on PlayStation VR, except this time we have the power of a high-end gaming PC to push the envelope of what's possible in combat flight-action games. Another newer arrival is VEN VR Adventure by Monologic Games. In fact, we're surprised to see the game ranked so low. We believe word of mouth will spread with this outstanding VR platformer, and that it will be climbing the charts very soon!
